  • The three courses in this module will provide you with an opportunity to learn about the philosophy undergirding research in health promotion, as well as the methodogy and methods that are often applied to identifying important questions, gathering evidence and creating knowledge in this field. This first course is about applying the ideals of health promotion - participation, empowerment and positive change from the perspective of the people involved - in HP research. In the second course, you will explore the range of methods used in researching HP issues. The third and final course is about the application of HP research methods in evaluation of health promotion initiatives.
